Burner Management and Ignition Systems |
| BMS - 2000 Burner Management System - Download PDF Version | ||
The unit features single or dual burner sequencing, first out annunciation for safety interlocks and single or dual temperature control of bath and/or process. |
| Automatic Sequencing Features | ||
| • Single or dual burner control (selectable between in conjunction or
independent) • Auto relite sequence can be de-selected or selected with up to three retry attempts • Pre and post purge times, auxiliary blower with confirmation and prepurge are configurable • Dual setpoint thermocouple operation and / or U.V. detection are configurable • Ignition output signal can be configured as steady or pulsed • Startup bypass timers are adjustable • A wide variety of safety interlock devices are configurable into the sequence • Remote start / stop are configurable • Configuration is password protected and stored in non-volatile memory • Auto startup after power failure configurable • Intermittent pilot or standing pilot configurable |
| Shutdown Annunciation Features | ||
| A first out annunciator is built in with direct readout of the shutdown
conditions. Each shutdown condition is marked to its chronological incoming position. The operator must acknowledge each shutdown condition and the condition much be cleared before startup can be initiated. Available Standard and Configurable Shutdown Conditions: |
| Temperature Controller Features | ||
| The controller is available as a single temperature control version
or as a dual temperature control version. The dual temperature control version can be configured so that the controls work completely independent of each other or configured with one controller over-riding the other. Control can be primarily selected between On/Off with adjustable deadband or Proportional with integral and derivative. Deadband and PID parameters are adjustable for tuning and are password protected. The operator can select between auto / manual and remote / local setpoint. Remote temperature indication output and temperature setpoint input are configurable. Bath temperature setpoint and high limit are locally displayed and easily accessible. The status of the temperature control valve is displayed when on / off control is configured. The output percentage is displayed when proportional control is selected. |

| The BMS - 2000 Burner Management System Unit is capable of the three main functions required to safely start, monitor and control a single or dual burner gas fired heater. All sequencing, monitoring, control variables and states are fully displayed on a heated backlit LCD display. Full calibration, tuning and configuration are accessible via a password protected front membrane keypad. The unit will carry out, safely and reliably, the complete startup sequence including purge and automatic relite attempts. The safety shutdown interlocks are monitored and in the event of exceeding preset safety levels, the unit will shutdown the burners, first out annunciate the condition and callout. Bath and/or process temperature can be selected with built in three mode controller or on/off controller with adjustable deadband. The operator can select from auto to manual control and from remote to local setpoint. | ||||||||||||
